free crochet pattern | chunky cuff

This chunky cuff pattern was designed to use really, really long trebles and whilst it can be made with any size yarn, it looks best in an overly chunky yarn like the Plump from Mrs Moon used. Note, if you change your yarn size, make sure to adjust your hook size and starting chain accordingly.

Chunky Crochet Cuff

UK terminology used throughout.

*special stitch - long treble. Yarn round hook four times, into next stitch, yarn round hook and through two loops (five times).

Using Plump yarn and a 10mm hook.

Chain 19.

Row 1. 1 half treble in 3rd chain from hook. I half treble in each stitch to end, turn.

Row 2. Chain 5, miss 1st, 1 long treble in each stitch to end. Finish with 1 long treble in 2nd chain of starting 2 chain, turn. 

Row 3. Chain 2, miss 1st, 1 half treble in each stitch to end.

Finish.

Sew ends of cuff together and sew in all ends. No blocking should be required.
