I love this hunky chunky cuff pattern. I was fiddling about with really long (really, really long!) trebles to see what they would look like and the hunky chunky cuff was born.
You can make the cuff of hunkyness with any size yarn you like, just adjust your starting chain accordingly, but I prefer it nice and chunky.
The yarn I've used is the fabulous Plump from Mrs Moon but any super chunky yarn will do, if you use a less plump yarn just adjust the number of starting stitches to suit your wrist (and make sure you can get the cuff over your hand!).
Hunky Chunky Crochet Cuff
UK terminology used throughout.
*special stitch - long treble. Yarn round hook four times, into next stitch, yarn round hook and through two loops (five times).
Using Plump yarn and a 10mm hook.
Row 1. 1 half treble in 3rd chain from hook. I half treble in each stitch to end, turn.
Row 2. Chain 5, miss 1st, 1 long treble in each stitch to end. Finish with 1 long treble in 2nd chain of starting 2 chain, turn.
Row 3. Chain 2, miss 1st, 1 half treble in each stitch to end.
Finish. Sew ends of cuff together, pop the hunky chunkster on your wrist and get yourself out and about to show off your skills.
