brighten up your boring jumpers yo!

Aubery Yoke Tee pattern

You know I love a boring jumper as much as the next person. In fact, all hail the boring jumper because sometimes a jazzy jumper will just not do.

I did however make this lovely crocheted piece (because I don't know what else to call it) from some scrap yarn and whilst debating the necklace vs. appliqué question, for it was made to be a necklace but just seemed a bit too flimsy, my super plain, super H&M jumper made itself known.

"Pick me, pick me, jazz me up you ridiculous woman, for I am boring and, erm, white".

The rest is history. I did pick the whiney jumper and the two items were married together with some of my (shit) sewing skillz (with a z yo!) and the Aubery Yoke Tee was born. She is a beauty, named after the dashing pirate in Daphne Du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek.
